Triumphant and gleaming in the brightest corner of the room, she sat quietly waiting to sing. “But,” I asked her, “why are you dressed in such drab colors? You can sing any song in the world, you can speak with such vibrant color, passion, and power - yet you’re dressed all in monochrome?” No, that just won’t do for our piano.
